I haven’t seen anyone else talking about this but I laughed SO HARD at the “features of interest” stuff

Every time I read ACD I’m like “damn, Arthur, you need a new phrase”

I was all but crying with laughter when they referenced it.

Also I like how they had Watson including it in his stories because Holmes allegedly says it all the time, whereas to the reader of ACD it looks like Watson, in his capacity as narrator/chronicler, never has anything to say about a case at the outset other than “it presented some features of interest,” which he says about
